Cotton Care

Do not.

  • Use fabric softeners;
  • Overfill the washing machine or tumble drier as you need to allow room for towels and mats to circulate effectively;
  • Bring coloured towels into contact with bleach, peroxide or optical brighteners. These are too harsh, and will shorten the lifespan of the soft material fibres;

  • Use phosphate-free liquid laundry detergents;
  • Wash on a warm gentle cycle - preferably 40° C / 86° F;
  • Line-dry products in a shaded place, away from direct sunlight, or tumble dry on a medium heat;
  • Soften your towels by using one cup of white vinegar about every six weeks - this will remove the soapy residue that makes towels feel rough, bringing back softness while restoring them to full absorbency.
